Repair of small cracks (minor cracks that do not affect the performance of the module) Repair steps: ① Cleaning: Wipe the crack area and surrounding areas with a clean soft brush and special cleaning fluid to remove impurities. ② Positioning and marking: Observe the cracks with the help of a magnifying glass or microscope, determine its position, size and other parameters, and mark them. ③ Preparation of filling materials: Select transparent epoxy resin glue, which has good optical properties and adhesion. ④ Filling operation: Use a syringe or dropper to slowly drip the glue into the crack gap to avoid bubbles, then place the module horizontally and wait for curing. The curing time depends on the instructions.
2. Repair of large cracks or cracks that seriously affect performance (cells may need to be replaced) Repair steps: ① Component disassembly: Carefully remove the component from the bracket and place it on a clean workbench to avoid collision with other cells. ② Cell removal: Use a hot air gun or heating plate to soften the packaging material (such as EVA film), remove the cracked cell, and be careful not to damage the surrounding components. ③Installation of new cells: prepare new cells of the same model and specifications, place them in the original position, ensure that the electrodes are aligned, and place new EVA films under and around them. ④Re-encapsulation and curing: put them into the laminator and encapsulate them according to the normal process.
